a little about me.

Laura received her Bachelor’s in Public Health at the University of Arizona and pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University. Laura is a pelvic floor physical therapist, a certified cognitive behavioral practitioner, sexual health coach, & Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Energized and passionate about mind-body holistic healing and a genuine desire to help others is what makes Laura so good at what she does. Laura approaches life with a progressive mind, and is very passionate about de-stigmatizing pelvic health & mental health. Due to a history of emotional and sexual trauma, Laura has struggled with her own pelvic health concerns, allowing her to truly empathize and support her patients. Laura enjoys incorporating cognitive therapy, craniosacral therapy, reiki, somatic therapy, mindfulness, + self-compassion into her sessions when necessary to address nervous system dysregulation stemming from stress or trauma that my be manifesting as discomfort in the body.

In her free time, Laura loves to mountain bike, trail run, ski, rock climb, travel, write, and play guitar. Although born and raised in Reno, NV, Laura has fallen deeply in love with the Wasatch Mountains and Utah sunrises.
