FAQs
Is pain during sex normal?
1
while pain during sex is common, it is not something you have to live with. It is usually a sign of pelvic floor muscle tension and nervous system related issues that we can address together.
How long until I start to see improvement?
2
While prognosis can vary from person to person, some of my patients will notice improvement within the first few sessions of working together.
What makes you different?
3
Many pelvic floor PTs are amazing, smart and helpful. What makes me different is that I approach your treatment with your whole background, body, and past experiences in mind. Along with treating physical symptoms, I have training in working with the nervous system and addressing patterns stored in the body. This Is especially important for concerns like painful sex, vaginismus, and chronic pelvic tension.
Do you accept insurance?
4
Many insurances reject pelvic floor claims, so we do not accept insurance. However, we do accept HSA cards, and we do provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Initial evaluations cost $120, and follow up sessions are $100. While every person is different, we will likely need around 5-6 sessions total.
